Lafri, the magical vessel of LAFRIonArt&Beyond projects, which sails the Aegean sea with passion for art, ecology and adventures’ till the end of the world! She is a 1987 beneteau Idylle 15.5 sailing boat, which has been greatly refitted in 2021-2022. Her unique vintage look creates a wonderful vibe of coziness.
Skipper Nikolas Piperas , who has been sailing since 2004. He became a professional skipper in 2016, and the proud owner of Lafri in July 2021. Nikolas Piperas has been a professional actor and an acting instructor. He has written and published a fairytale ε, ενα νησι θα’ναι, has recorded two music albums ap’ ti sofita & a song from Vagabondia, and has painted in the past.
The non-profit organization LAFRIonArt&Beyond, that is organizing projects around the Aegean sea. Its mission consists of: -artistic creation and education, -environmental awareness and -the dissemination of cultural heritage. Through seminars, workshops, thematic journeys, and the implementation of actions with artistic or environmental character. These, take place onboard Lafri, as well as on various locations around the islands of the Aegean Sea. LAFRIonArt&Beyond aims to create an international community of creative individuals interested in collaborating to manifest life narratives worth experiencing.
All the thoughts, emotions, dreams, aspirations, disagreements, frustrations, laughter, wisdom, imagination, creativity expressed and respectfully shared with love, towards an inner and outer growth by the first LAFRIonArt&Beyond crew. 15.9.2023 -10.10.2023.
